Phase 5 — Developer / Progress Summary

Scope

Phase 5 is the point where the app becomes usable as a day-to-day tracker with stable dashboards, navigation, and baseline UX.

This page documents the implementation-level outcomes and boundaries of Phase 5 for maintainers.

Delivered Capabilities

Dashboards and Navigation

  • Established the primary dashboard routes and navigation structure.
  • Consolidated the “Charts” dashboard as the central analytics surface for imported runs.
  • Added progress dashboards for upgradeable entities where applicable.

Ingestion and Persistence

  • Supported ingesting battle history as raw text while preserving raw values.
  • Maintained a separation between parsed raw storage and derived/normalized display usage.

Filtering and Context

  • Implemented deterministic context filtering patterns (date range, tier, preset) used consistently across dashboards.
  • Ensured dashboards remain display-only (no inline math outside of the analysis layer).

UX and Stability

  • Hardened core flows so the UI remains readable and predictable across empty states and partial data.
  • Focused on correctness and traceability over strategy guidance.

Guardrails and Non-Goals

  • No prescriptive recommendations or “optimal” guidance.
  • No free-form user-defined expressions.
  • No destructive normalization of imported values.

Implementation Notes

  • Views are responsible for orchestration and data selection, not calculation.
  • The analysis layer is responsible for deterministic, testable computation.
  • Charts consume analysis outputs; rendering remains value-preserving.

Known Follow-ups (Post-Phase 5)

  • Phase 6 expands metric coverage and context guarantees.
  • Phase 7 introduces schema-driven Chart Builder tooling, snapshots, and deterministic confidence signals.
